Lost my dad
Ryan- sorry for your loss. Prayers go out to you and your families. It speaks highly of a person when attendance at the funeral is that large. I went through what you did 32 years ago today. My dad was was only 51 then. Again sorry for your loss! :'(

Ryan, so sorry to hear of the loss of your Dad. I know how you feel as I lost my Mom in October 1977 and my Dad September 1988 but at least Mom was 71 and Dad 83. Mom left much too early but your Dad is four years younger than me.
Don't be surprised if you find yourself having a problem or you are trying to fix something and can't figure it out and you think I will just give Dad a call. Dad has been gone 21 years and I still catch myself wanting to do that. May the Lord's blessings be with you and your family. And may your father rest in eternal peace and the Lord hold him in His arms.

Ryan,
I am sorry your loss. Sounds like you and your Dad had great relationship. Lost my Dad 5 years ago last week and my Mom less than a year before my Dad. Losing a parent leaves a void that no one can ever fill. I don't think you ever stop missing them, but it does get easier with time. I find solace in remembering the good times I had with them.
