I'm not a fan of the spikes either, but that's just me.
As far as the headlights goes, let me know what you think because I'm definitely interested in that upgrade! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Login or Register to Remove Ads |

I run LED's in my bike. I changed bulbs in head light and driving lights as well as the tail light. I will say that all three up front do increase direct light in front of you. No question about that. However, the high beam you will find out is useless. It does not increase any light distance at all. Only disadvantage to LED I have found is the distance in light extension. I run these in my truck and car as well and have the same issue. I bought the Stark Series from Amazon. Adjust the height angle properly as these are blinding to on coming traffic

No luck. The chrome end piece near the switch housing is sloped from the housing to the first rubber pad on the grip. I cut a strip of wedge shaped rubber to fill in that space so the mount would have an even surface to grab to, but it turns out that that strip plus the rubber pad are too thick. The thumb lever grips the grip too tight, even when "off", as soon as you try to attach the chrome ring to the lever. I'm headed to an Arizona Route 66 ride up north, but will take another stab at the lock when I get back. A man's work is never done....

"Nice and bright, but lasted only 4 months. Fortunately it went out when I was less than a mile from home on my scooter but not a good feeling when you're already hard to spot in the daylight!". I was thinking of getting one until i read that.I ride with the headlight on all the time.Let me know if yours survives for any reasonable period.
