Hey Putt, Welcome from just up the road, Jacksonville FL. Actually was in Melborne a week ago. Friend from MI looking at home in the over 50 comunity just west of 95. You should dive right in by joining the group of us from FL that are going to the National Rally in Custer SD in June. What do ya think? It would be nice to have some one older than me!

First bike was 1956 Triumph Cub (100cc Single) got her in 1960 and have had a motor cycle ever since. Also did 20 years on Goldwing before the Nomad so we have some comparing to do!

That was funny Jag...hey,we could ride together as a father son act, errr, I mean Grandpa Grandson act. We could wear matching t-shirts, you know, those old ones that say "I'm with stupid." with an arrow pointing to the side. Uhhh, they might be before your time. :-/ I'll tell ya' one thing I've learned here, this isn't the first purty bike Kawasaki has made, seeing some nice ones in here.
And Trosco, re your ride west, that sure is tempting but made committments to family to ride due North so I can't back out. But I thank you for the invite. This will be the second Canada trip in a row so I've gotta' go elsewhere next one.
Put the pedal to the metal today and she accelerates nice, all the way up to 90 so far and then I was getting near radar country. Love the ride, she is as comfortable as an old shoe and I feel right at home on her already. Excellent wind protection for just a windshield.
I see a few folks naming their bikes. I was standing behind her admiring those curves and I've decided, I'm callin' her J Lo. Can't help myself, I just want to run my hands over that round rear end. Sigh! I'm a sick, sick man.
Thanks again for the welcoming words from everybody

What a contrast, snowing in Edmonton and what can you say about Florida all year riding - I'm jealous. Welcome.
