Congratulations on the new bike. I do a lot of long distance riding and the XCT is the most comfortable bike for my large frame also. There may be better motorcycles out there but none are more comfortable for large riders. Oh yeah, welcome to the Various Baggers Association.

Mark,

Did you buy the optional Victory ego inflator like Brad and Kris did?

Is that optional? Live and learn. Based on coments on this forum I assumed it came standard on all Victory products.

I can think of a couple more that got that option too...

Just be sure to direct all your question to these two . They are Victory Experts.

Unfortunately the ego inflator option is on back order , too many have been buying a Victory. I have been told to be patient as the ego inflator will grow naturally during break in to a comfortable level. The process is often accelerated depending on the attitudes of the other brands. I am looking forward to the ego boost.

Tomorrow is the big day, I get my new ride. With a full tank of gas, the weather is supposed to be sunny and the temperatures in the mid-80s, I will be taking the long way home.

Congrats Mark...you will love that thing!

I hope I sounded more happy than egomaniacal about my purchase, because that is all it really was. After making a costly mistake, I was just thrilled to find a bike that actually met my expectations. I too have a big frame and with the wife on board and all of our luggage, the extra room, power, gearing, generous storage and amenities are a huge reason to smile....

It is truly important to find a bike that fits you and obviously Mark has done that. The Nomad fit me great, but the XCT fits me great too and has all those extra things that the Nomad did not. If you own an older (pre-2009) Nomad and ride one of these, it will feel like your Nomad on steroids...! Don't take my word for it...just ask Mark in a couple of more days...!

Congratulations! You have chosen wisely, grasshopper. Each day I ride my XCT it just gets better and better. I put the cherry on top of the sundae this weekend..bought and installed the passenger arm rests. Baby's ready to ride and cover some territory. She loves them.

Happy Wife........Happy Victory owner!!

If you would read as much as you post you would know that is a dumbass statement. Please find a single post of mine to prove your statement. You will NOT. You like to include ALL of the Victory riders in your statements and it just shows your complete ignorance of the facts. The only thing I ever say about my Vic is that it fits me well. If you had read my earlier post in this thread you would know the facts. I do NOT say my bike is the best, or the fastest or greatest, I do say it is the best for me. That's it!!
