Still have the bike raised up on the jack ... too tempting to take it down because i know I will hit the road and with the amount of sand on the roads, I may hit it and not in a good way. Supposed to have about 4 days of rain coming so that will help

Cleaning everything up this weekend and doing a few mods. Weather as been around the 9-11C around here with almost no more snow. Spring is here! |

The City started sweeping the streets Monday, changed the oil last night, currently +14 so I rode the bike to work today the weather is supposed to stay nice until the weekend so looks like I will get a couple of rides in. Just my youngest son (13) and I around tonight so I think we will have to go for a little ride after work.

Quite a few bikes showing up on the roads around here. Today I did my good deed and was designated driver, driving both my brother and my buddy to pick up their bikes from storage. Tomorrow with nothing left to check on the Nomad but the tire pressure, I should get a chance to go for a first ride of the season.

+1 on loving the nomad. I just got mine in October, had a shadow ace before that and this bike is great.... comfortable, lots of power, and really nimble for its size. I was a little worried about going from a 750 to a 1600 but it handles like a dream. Plan to keep this one for a while, just bought an old voyager trunk, will order a reckless fairing in a few months and probably the lowers over the winter ... so much for promising my wife I wouldn't do any mods for at least a year ::)
