Afraid to dammage the shooks from the heat of wellding so the start to leak, but absolutely worth having a eye on. Orded a remote today to raise and lowering it :) |

also the fact that they are air ride shocks has nothing to do with rebound dampening, the air is nothing more than for load bearing, i have found the stock Vaq shocks to quite exceptional versus any other bike i have ridden, i ride it hard and fast on new england roads 2 up and loaded and they perform awesome, as for short service life, my 06 nomad had 100k on em, not 1 stitch of service needed and i ran em at 60psi ta boot |

What about the compressor?
I don't get the price either, thats outta budget for me. They mention T6160 billet tops that's not a sales pitch to me Seems a little weak ( strengh )

Thanks for posting and the info. I kept my stock air shocks with the lowering link kit from Luverne Kawi. But if I ever decide to do something else, it will be this. Nice information.

I just wondering about the kickstand, i have changed mine for the little longer kawa stand (that i read about in this forum). Is there any risk for the bike to tip over when suspension is in the lowest setting? Should i change back to the original one?

Kickstand
IMO
The longer kickstand is not needed if you lower the rear. If you didn't it would stand up strait and likely tip over even at a full lock left
