Lar, I could be wrong but I don't think he needs to know that early. I think what he said was we couldn't start reserving rooms till the begining of January.

you are 100% correct. But the question is how fast does it get booked-up?? Now you see why I needed you as an ARL, to keep me in-line :) I'll ask how long they will hold a block of rooms.

Its up to you but last year we left on a Sunday to head home. That gives Thursday for a meet and greet meal etc. Friday and Saturday for riding. TC correct me if I'm wrong Although Chips said she wouldn't mind staying till Monday :-/

Lar, you are 100% correct. The Finger Lakes Rally we stayed Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Headed home on Sunday.
Thursday meet and greet, Fri and Sat rides.
Cindy and I will be getting in late Thursday. She has to work Wednesday night till Thursday morning then get a few hours sleep before we head out.

Ole Dawg, you follow the sun, that's a good reason for you not to be at the rally last year. I don't remember any sun, lots and lots of rain though.
Cindy and I have REAL rain gear this year so i hope we don't need it

I'm glad Larry changed the date's this yr. those June dates the past 2 yrs it rained. Beezer & I rode in rain for 4 day's in 08 and I vowed to never go that route again.But we all did get caught in a wicked downpour on our ride to Bill's Ole Bike Barn later that yr. I'm sure Heater Guy & Fish & Chips remember that downpour. And I do have good rain gear, but that doesn't make for any more enjoyable ride for me. If I get caught on the road thats one thing, but to pull out in the rain......... :(" title="" border="0"/> Uh Uh ::) ::) ::)

Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner. I'm trying to transition from "holiday" to "motel" frame of mind.
