I couldn't give it a 5 because you must be ashamed that it is a Kawasaki Vulcan Nomad since you removed all the badging. I love when the Harley guys try to read the emblem on the tank without getting too close, like they might catch something.

Your conclusion makes me laugh. You think I'm ashamed of it because it's a Vulcan? If I wanted something else, what makes you think I wouldn't have purchased something else? I paid cash for this bike, and have for all of my bikes-including 3 Vulcan Nomads and several other Vulcan models.

When spending hours of research, deciding what style and how to paint my bike, I decided I really wanted to highlight the strong, defining Vulcan lines—with the stretched out arched Vulcan tank and arched Vulcan saddlebags. To do this I decided on a single-color. To enhance the single-color look, I removed the badges the decal strips from the saddlebags and filled in the divots with a fiber body filler to make the saddlebags solid and smooth.

I really don't think the removal of a 3/4" V with the word Vulcan in 1/6" tall letters demonstrates a regretful decision. I think the prideful time customizing, hours of riding, and a website devoted to helping other Vulcan riders demonstrate just contrary.

Just teasing you man about why you didn't put the Vulcan back on the bike, but that is why I couldn't give it a 5. You could have at least painted "hardley a davidson" on the side of the tanks.

It is a great looking bike Jared, and you have worked hard to make look great. Good job!

You get a 5 from me for two reasons. The first... I just mentioned... the second is I am jealous of anyone that can do that kind of work. I don't have the time, skill, or knowledge.

PS: Love the photos you have done with the bike also. (Pictures I can do and appreciate good ones!)
