I got real lucky this last Saturday, a group of us went to Iron Pony in Columbus, Ohio. Wandering around, I saw a exhaust display with a pair of Roadhouse Cruiser Dual's. The last set they had. 89.95 They sound great!! Look around, you may get lucky and get a deal too.

Ok I run V&H Baggers and have never cracked a set of pipes. I can't be sure if it is because of the way I install pipes or I just got lucky. 06 nad i put the pipes on inside of the first 2 weeks i bought bike in June 06.

I think you can do more with creating custom baffles on V&H than any other set up bar none.

It is upsetting V&H won't back up their stuff never the less.

I have types up the How to of this forever here, and would like to know which set you choose before i type it up again.

Basically you make the parts fit and 'settle the system working from the back to the front tightening as you go.

In fact I don't use the head pipe to muffler can clamps... Instead i use a lot of anti seize there.

I do things different ways I guess like run my battery which is still the same old one on a auto float antisulfation charger all the time I am not riding..

This will be season 8 for that battery and it shows no sign of weakness yet. Why just today I planted a old rider buddy of mine at a service.....

Then went to the height of land around here to be in the sun a while, and I left my amber passing lamps on a good 2.5 hours.

Battery didn't care a bit.

I run the V&H Baggers with no problems. I did wrap my head pipes with header tape, and put the chrome covers back on. Eliminated all blueing issues. Never had a cracking problem, but do always make sure that if I remove them for any reason, I make sure nothing is binding when re-installing them.

Thanks, smbke! The big cigar industry trade show is back in Vegas this summer. If I manage to weasel my way in, I'll holler.

Thanks, everyone, for the great feedback.

I have V&H on my Shadow 750 and love them, but the issues with cracking for this make/model will make me reconsider the brand loyalty a little.

If I get my hands on the few bucks I have in sight, I'll be re-reading all your comments and hopefully doing some shopping.

Thanks!
