dude...East of Birminghan, where you cross I-20...you are at the Talladega National Forrest...while out of the way...its a nice ride thru there ...check out the route that runs thru the middle of the national park on this map.... http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&tab=wl

I wont be able to make the summer SE Group Rally so I really want to make this ride. You guys let me know what routes you are taking. I think Kawhead said he might go too so that will give me someone around here to travel with hopefully to join the group.

Hey Todd, Last I talked to Tom we we're talking about me leaving on Wed. the 18th for this and meeting up with the group in St.Augustine on Thru. the 19th or Fri. the 20th?? I can't swing 2 whole weeks off back to back. But I did get the okay for the 19th & 20th along with week of the 23rd-27th.

I wont be able to do 2 weeks either..but I hope to be able to join in for a few days in the keys anyway. I'll keep monitoring....I might have to do the same and try to meet up in the Jacksonville, St. Augustine area.

Todd, I think that I can get off for a few days to ride in April. I would be able to leave on April 18th to meet the group in St. Augustine. I can continue the trip with the group but can only stay in Key West Sat and Sun. Leave on Mon so I can be back in Orangeburg Tues afternoon. I can give a comfortable place to stay in Orangeburg coming and going if you are interested. Gerald

Since Goose can only get off on Thur and Friday the trip down will go a little different than the one I set orginally I still have not set down and figured it out Alot of it depends on what time we leave Ocoee and head south (Atlanta Traffic times). I still plan on a return trip back up the west coast.

I'm still working on details. My plans match yours, meet the group in St.Augustine. I'm still trying to find out how long I can stay.
