Here is my 5 x 10 utility trailer. I bought it about 10 years ago for "around the house" purposes. Very handy.
I bought a MC wheel chock (about $75) and a couple tie downs for the bike so I could haul it when the ride was too long for the wife. Used it last year for a 1900 mile round trip to Montana. Worked out perfectly. Easy on/off and towed great. An enclosed trailer is probably better for MC purposes but my open trailer gets used more for home projects around my place. I have owned both. If I did not need the trailer for home projects I would probably just rent a trailer for the 1-2 times per year my wife went with me on a MC trip. It is good that you found one to borrow. Left the house this morning at 4:50 AM rolled to Douglas GA pickup up the new Motorcycle?ATV/Lawnmower trailer. Back in St George SC tonight. Got the motorcycle package, Chrome Rims, Radials, 6 tie down hooks on the inside, 12V lights while your hooked up. 16x7 has two foor on the V nose.
$4300.00 I'm coastal and my shop is 40" above ground the trailer will serve as a home or house where the bike is totally out the weather . Don't want to leave it under a shed with a tarp over it. Have a ATV and a Zero turn lawn mower that is getting a tad old staying at the shop way to much so The trailer will be used for a lot of things.
