I have can guns...

Actually, I have a .30-06 Mauser, 444 Marlin, 9mm FEG R-9 and Commander in 45. I've had a lot more in the past, but this is what I have now.

So what do you CCW with or shoot at the range ?
Anyone have a 9mm rifle? What brand? Pros and cons as I am looking :)
Thanks and Ride Safe!

I had a Highpoint 995 Ts carbine. That was a stupid fun gun. The body is mostly plastic so it's very light. I could hit golf balls at 75 yards with it. You had to have high quality ammo for it. Non of those cheap aluminum case bullets. The cheap stuff will stove pipe in the breech. They have a lifetime no questions asked warranty. Kind of wished I knew that before I sold the gun to a dealer. Kal-Tec also sells a 9mm carbine. I don't know much about them. High Point might be worth a look for you.

I read a lot of great reviews on the Hi Point 995, Great price but they only have a 10 round mag :( , The 995 quality and function were all good un like a lot of their pistols. I am leaning very hard on getting the Hi point.. Someone told me there is a 9mm Carbine that takes Glock High Cap mags. around 500$ I think.... But I love that funky look of the Hi Point :)

Great reviews on the XDS I almost got one :) Do you have the Talon Grip tape on your Shield? If not you should try them. I got the rubber ones for mine and the grip to me is better.. They also make a sandpaper type, basically skateboard grip tape! Bought a set for my son he love the rubber type grip, His wife tried it and does not like the feel gues she does not like rubbers lol

I've got a Shield 40 that I carry.
I love my 4" XD9. I have over 50,000 rounds through it.
I have a Walther P22. I bought it for my (now ex-) wife, but it's the most fun little gun in my arsenal.
I have a Stag Arms Model II AR-15. It's heavy, but too much fun to shoot.

I sold my M&P 9c, Springfield Armory Range Commander 1911, and Smith and Wesson 910. They were all good guns, but didn't work for me.

S&W 3913 9 mm (my main carry), Taurus PT92 9 mm, and a Taurus Judge with 45s for home defense, or shotgun shells for snakes and other critters.
