What do you gain?
I wont ride if it is below 32 degrees. I'd prefer not to ride if it's below 40 degrees. I have home-made deflectors on my Nomad and heated gloves. I've never had any problems with this set-up.

Yes, Netnorske they shipped fast, I recieved them via priority mail in just a couple of days. They didn't give me a choice of colors but they shipped me black. I was ready to break out the black spray paint if I didn't like the color.
However, because my hands were still cold I started looking for mittens and I found these on the internet. http://www.campmor.com/outdoor/gear/Product___79873 Today we had upper 30s weather and I rode about 5 miles to the local Campmor in these crappy gloves linked below and my hands were cold already when I got there. http://leatherup.com/p/Motorcycle-Gl...ves/50777.html Based on the short ride home from the Campmor store the mittens were a hundred times better. I hope to put on some miles tomorrow and I'll give a better report either way. The thing with mittens is you can drop the hand warmers in and they are on your fingertips which for me is the coldest part. |

We road 120 miles today in 33-37 degree weather with the gerbing heated gloves and my hands were warm all the way. They are pricey, but in the long run,I think they are the way to go in cold weather. I also have a pair of the HD windshielder gauntlet gloves which are good warm gloves but they don't compare with the heated gloves.

Hi funtogo!!
Yes I'm sure that heated gloves will do the job. But I'm just being stubborn as I'm commited to going aux natural. And now for my in depth review of those gloves that I bought yesterday. As soon as I got home from my ride today I ordered a set of Hippo Hands. Enjoy!!! Tom |
