Back On thread.. I have abit of a issue with lifting my right leg over the seat as well. But Im missing part of my leg so thats the issue lol. I do have to exercise it more so you son is right.Us old farts need to do it more :)..So when I am having issue w/the leg I just help it up with my hand till I clear the seat...... As for chaps on the bags well I dont like the fact thatdirt can get under them and scratch the bags... I had saddlebag crashbar chaps on my Nomad and when washing the bike saw some scratchs. So just my 2 cents

I'm going to eventually use the chaps on my saddlebags.

I know, I know... after that last comment, this one doesn't sound right either. :) ;)
