Some of the old bikes did have great seats... didn't they?!

I think people thought more about seats on some things back in the day. Kind-of like the old farmer's tractor seat shaped like your butt.

I have ridden with Mustang, Corbin, stock, stock with gel. Gel pads etc etc, I now have the RDL that I got from another rider who sold his bike, he was close enough to my specs that the seat fit very well, I will not go back to a mustang and intend to keep the RDL for as long as I own the bike, it is the most comfortable one I have found to date, and until someone makes a better one, i will stick with this. It has the heavy springs in it, and all leather, I also have the stock Kawasaki backrest.

I went from a stock seat to a Mustang seat with drivers backrest and it was better than stock, but I was still not happy. I then purchased a slightly used Russell Daylong with drivers backrest from a friend on the forum and it was superior to the Mustang for me.

Some love mustang and others say they're no better than stock. Everyone is different.
The RDL must be great because there truly isn't one bad review I've found. I debated on it but decided to just go with the mustang. Never had anyone with a RDL around close to where I could possible try one out. I wouldn't have a problem spending that kind of money on a seat if I could ri.de it for a weekend. Then again, those of you that did spend the $1000 on your RDL, if it wasn't worth the money would you really tell us? I didn't think so and I understand. That's a lot of cash to just say, "It's a decent seat." Don't expect anyone to do that
Absolutely no reason to ever feel like you have a bad RDL seat. If you do have any issues with it they will work with you and make any changes at no charge. If they can not make it work for you they will buy it back. I had a issue with mine when I got it. One call and it was taken care of very quickly. Am I happy you better believe it. Great seat from a great company.

My Corbin only lasted about 50 miles on my bike. I hated it.

well guys, i think i will be going with the rdl. it would have been nice to used the extra money on some other stuff, but i will sure be nice to be comfy.

i figure between the new bars, new grips, and the new seat with backrest, i should be able to log some miles this summer. the wifes family does a utah trip every summer and ive been thinkin this year i will follow them up on the bike.

(more like beat them by a few hours)

I bought a Mustang seat for my Virago. I will never buy another one. RDL on my Nomad and now on my Voyager.

It's great to know there's a company out there that stands behind there product like RDL seems to do. As I said earlier, I've not read a bad word about their seats and who knows I may eat my words on the mustang. For now I'm happy and that's what matters. Just wish it was riding weather. Will be almost single digits tonight and snow on the ground
