Reversing the Debaffle
On a similar thread awhile back someone said you could just use three self tapping screws (evenly spaced) on each baffle and paint the ends. Might be worth a try until you decide for sure.

Reversing the Debaffle
Ok, schoeney, here is what will happen. You put the baffles in with tapping screws and start riding. Hey, pretty cool, no sound, maybe a little more torque in the low end, but gears run out fairly quick. No big deal you can live with it. You keep riding and then you notice that the no sound is starting to make you wonder, what size of bike is this. I bet in less then 14 days the screws come out and bliss is in your life again. Lol

Reversing the Debaffle
I still say that debaffled is the way to go. I love the sound at lower speeds and when you "get on" the throttle, but at highway speeds the bike sounds almost stock to me. I still hear just the wind like I did when she was stock. I will keep mine debaffled, but some day pipes will be on my to-do list. Along with the TFI and some form of intake mod. Good luck with your decision and all that matters is that you love it. Ride Safe!!!

Reversing the Debaffle
I mig welded mine back in. It just took a few minutes and wasn't a problem. I did take them off the bike to do it so I could stand up to weld it.

Reversing the Debaffle
I put my baffles back in before I purchased my Cobra True Duals. I used three screws on each, two on the bottom and one on top. I road that way for a couple of thousand miles and it never came lose.
