Random thoughts on death and dying
Those are very touchy issues Cadd. We all struggle with what would we do? Do we do everything to resist dying? In light of the fact that we are ARE going to die someday?
Is it my right or obligation to assist another to die? I have opinions but I answer to a higher authority and I've not received his word on it. Trust me I've asked him many times over this and the answer has not come. I wonder the depths of my own consciousness on how giving back the gift of life is received by God. When is suicide acceptable to God? When we are writhing in agony over illness or writhing in agony over losing our spouse and giving up wanting to live without him/her??? I don't have issues with "Jack the Dripper". I feel he has done what he felt was extending mercy to his patients.

Random thoughts on death and dying
Yes, it's not easy to think of in the abstract, but I feel when the time comes, if it ever does, the knowledge of what to do will come as well.
