Don't kid yourself. It will not wear your clutch out any faster than a MC tire. 75K miles on my old V2K with a CT and no clutch problems. New owner has the bike and over 100K on it and still no problems at all. I know because he is my neighbor .

And...and...synth oil is waaaayy better than dino oil!
Aaannndd...the PCV is better than the Cobra. And if you don't use the PCV, your bike's paint will peel off and the handle bars will droop, unless you have a windshield 9" or shorter on it. |

Synth is better, especially in extreme conditions. As far as the PCV goes, the auto tune setup would have an advantage. I've followed too many bikes that use static maps and stink rich. Anything that adapts to measured fuel ratio is going to be a better setup. Without an o2 sensor it's barely an educated guess.

OK....OK.....I started this bashing and kickin so I will try to end it. I have noticed a difference since I took the car tire off and went with the MC tire. I will have to say I can see a big difference in the handling MC tire is better by far. However I do not think a CT will hurt you or dammage the bike in anyway. Just what you like. ................................Ride safe and enjoy the summer.

AWW, just when it was starting to get fun. Oh well, any one for a oil thread, or maybe a " my bike is faster than your bike" thread ??

Well for a minute there, I thought Tim's sarcastic remark put him squarely in the dark side camp. Did he secretly convert?
