Rally return check in...
Well Guy, Sly and I got home around 9:00 pm Tonight (Sat). Two days running the second day we did something like 1200 Km. Caper is still on the road. Thanks for a great time. Can't wait to do it again, well maybe when the butt gets back to normal.

Rally return check in...
Well my buddy and I made it home today around 1700. Straight blast on I-40 to OKC then about another hour south. He ran out of gas about 80 miles from OKC, and my yellow light of doom was screaming at me too. However I managed to make it to the next station (12 miles away) and bought the most expensive 1 gallon gas can in the world ($20), filled it and went back and "rescued" him.
What I found interesting was that in that half an hour that he was there on the side of the road, not one person stopped to check on him. One guy on a HD pulling a trailer actually waved at him as he zoomed past.

Rally return check in...
We left this morning from Maggie about 7am, ran hard up to south Lexington Ky and waited out heavy storms for 2 hours and then hit the road again. Finally pulled into home at 11pm in Michigan. I hope everyone going north on 75 went east or west around Cincinnati on 275. It was backed up past the 275 exit when we got there and sign said 2 hour wait on 75 for the road construction on the bridge over river. Watched the weather radar on smart phone and dodged most of the rain but not all.
Tod and Amy you both did a great job. I hope after some R&R time you will realize how great a job you both did and how much everyone appreciated your efforts. Thank you......... My wife and I enjoyed bring all the door prizes. Congrats to the winners of the hard lowers. Can't wait to see everyone again soon. |

Right now Cindy and I are in Harrodsburg Kentucky.
Left the rally and went to South Carolina,Georgia,Alabama and Tennessee. Stopped at the Barber Motorcycle museum, that place is huge. There was a race going on we got to watch from inside the museum We have been in and out of rain since we entered Tenn. Some of storms were real toad stranglers. Going to go through Ohio and Penn. then home to NY State. Figure on being home by Friday. May stop at the Motorcycle museum in Ohio, not sure. Am also looking to stop in Penn. at a motorcycle museum there. That's it for now. U S eh

Our team of 3 made it home safe and dry on Friday. Southern IL had some tough looking storms, but we killed a few minutes in Metropolis to see the Superman statue, and got to stay out of any rain.

Nancy and I made it home safe and a little wet on Sunday night 10pm. We enjoyed meeting everyone. We were just shy of 3,000 miles round trip. Thanks Todd and Amy for all of your hard work, everyone seemed to enjoy themselves.
