I am not envious of anyone and I ride what is most comfortable for me. Fortunately the XCT handles very well and has plenty of power for a 900 lb large touring bike. I have said it many times and it is true "If I were comfortable on the HD Ultra Limited that is what I would be riding". I really like the Indian Roadmaster but it also feels cramped for me.

Mike, are you sure you are happy with your ride? You seem a bit touchy and defensive about it!

Not touchy at all, just have a low tolerance level for people that say and post stupid things that involve me.

Mercy me! I stand corrected, indeed, thoroughly chastened! Carry on Mike. Still winter up north in St. Paul?

Can you imagine what it would be like if he bought a BMW? Insufferable I tell you.

That's a shame to here about the Indian. I saw one on the road yesterday. Sounded and looked nice. HDs are just as small probably. Did you see where the victory landed in the CR motorcycle survey? It did well.

I want an Indian in the worst way but my Vic is so damn comfortable for all day riding I am very hesitant to switch just because I like another brand. I did see that the Vics did well in the survey. In reality all of the manufacturers make great bikes and it is just personal preference as to what you ride. If I had unlimited resources I would have one of each

The stock seat works for you? I know brad went with a Russell. That said, I like the Chieftain and Limited, but I don't think either would fit me well. The Victorys do, but I don't think they look as nice. It's a trade off I suppose. I usually go for function over form anyway.

Yeah, the stock seat works for me. If I am doing multiple 8-10 hour days I have a sheepskin that I throw on and I am comfortable. A fellow rider has a 2014 Indian Vintage and he also has a 2010 Victory Cross Country. When we are tearing up the twisties he prefers the Victory for the better handling, according to him. The fit and finish of the Indians is very nice, almost to Harley levels. And the exhaust sound with the Stage 1 fishtails is awesome.
