Riding over Labor Day weekend - Page 3

John and I are tossing around the idea and just need to know where to search for motels. This should get us going and then we can confirm in a day or two.

Cool Teri..... Budman is going to try and check out the motel situation this weekend in Caddo Valley, AR. So far, there's Super 8 and Best Western. We'll see what Dave Jesse thinks.

Would like to make it - but I don't think we can this time. I've got to do some maintenance on the Nomad and it may not get started until Labor day weekend. The rear end is making a creaking sound and I'm thinking it is likely the swingarm needs maintenance. A little scary for me - but dealer estimated 4-500 bucks to do it, so I'll read all the stuff on here again and try to tear into it.

Have you guys thought about Eureka Springs. It's a great little town, the best Highways in Arkansas are close #23, #21 & #7. I usually stay at "The Colonial Inn" it's nice and only about $60. Like I said the riding in the Ozarks is great, I usually go there three times a year!!

We have had a couple of rallies in ES. I think the idea is to be further south for the Texans that are likely making up the bulk of this get-together.

Kinda off the subject, but it sure is nice to see the cooler weather. Seems like the board has come alive! Things were getting slow around here. LET"S GO RIDIN!!

If you head North East from C.V. there is some great riding you are only 30 miles from Hot Springs. It sounds great but I can't make it I am going on another ride the weekend after.
