I have been riding it a couple of days making sure everything functions properly and that nothing else major needs done. After tomorrow I will finally get to clean it up and detailed! Can't wait to see the finished product. |

I have the Vance and Hines Pro-Pipe. I blacked out the exhaust shields and muffler to get the look I wanted.

Tape on the engine head covers
ZZ,
Do you think the tape will hold up to the heat on the engine head covers? Thanks Roger |

The vinyl in the cylinder head covers is fine. I ran the bike up to temp and then touched those covers before I out te vinyl on. They weren't that hot and since applying the vinyl I have has zero issues. I am confident it is safe.

Unfortunately I am considering selling my Vaquero. If you look through this post you will see I have done a lot of work to it, and shown it a lot of love. Unfortunately, I am beginning a new job, and my riding season is over. It seems like a waste to let it sit in my garage and waste away. I will start a thread in the classifieds as well, but I am going to ask 13k. There is only about 2k miles on the bike, and you can see all the work that was done. PM me if interested.
