Embarrassment day had arrived, I was good to go since then. This summer I started having trouble handling the beast, 6 yes 6 drops in one year. Turns out I am having some kind of health problems affecting my balance and a few other things have come to light as they have been looking me over. Hope they figure it all out before next season arrives.

Can you imagine 6 drops in front of most of your friends? It Sucks!!!
Gerry maybe if you take that furry thing off your head it might help, I can't imagine anyone riding around with a wild cat on top of their noggin.
Seriously, hope they find the cause of the problem.

I thought the stock bag guards on my 2016 vaquero were in my way a few times till yesterday. Pulled in to the driveway after work, played with the stereo. Forgot the kickstand. It went down so fast, right on to the underside of the guards. Boom. I can feel scratches under it but not visible from looking at it. Just hit over 1000 miles. The Guards did there job, Perfectly. Of course there was a witness, lucky I guess. He helped me right it.

Thanks Norm! I have had many test in the last three weeks, seems that they
feel I am having trouble with Vertigo. I'm going to look that one up.

I dropped a Triumph in front of about 50 people sitting on a patio outside a bar.
Cut my elbow pretty good. One of lifes most embarrassing moments.

There are some funny stories here. I think it's the old "when, not if" saying. If one is going to ride, you'll hit the pavement some day and hopefully get only the pride hurt. A tip over in front of a crowd is always a humbling experience.

And yes the Nomad is a difficult one to keep upright in a tight, low speed turn. I've almost gone down doing one of those but recovered.

Now I've just not ever dropped a bike while kissing a lady though. I'll have to give that one a try.
