Custom Aerostitch suits cost a bundle. As mush as I wouldn't mind owning one, it's too much money. I'd consider a Schuberth helmet though. They are supposed to be so quiet you don't need ear plugs. The helmet is the one thing I won't cheap out when I replace the one I have now, which is due next year. As far as the boots go, I won a sweepstakes that allowed me to buy them. I admit I prefer sneakers most of the time if it's not a long ride.

I stereotype, period. For example, I cannot stand BMW (car) drivers, they are the worst in my area. As far as riders, 'most' of Harley owners are a-holes, again in my area. I make a conscious effort and keep a distance from them.
Having said that one of my coworkers and her husband ride BMWs and we do a day trip once a year. They are the true road warriors and my wife and I enjoy their company (we sometimes tease them because they are so rich and have 2 BMWs plus another pair of dirt bikes). As for the local Harley crowd, it's hard to come across a decent guy in the city. Most of them hardcore wanna-be, the so called tough guys. And yet you can hardly see a Harley around here when it is raining and it rains a lot in Vancouver, B.C. |

I think I'll come to a point where I might have to flip the coin myself because I like the RG Ultra (the looks and better stability on the open road) and also the EG Classic because the handlebars are somewhat closer and I feel better control of the bike. I don't hang out with Harley guys so what kind of bikes are in my circle of friends is not a criterion for me. But my Harley funds must grow first before I get there. |

Shakes have gone away on my neighbor's new switchback. We went for a 340 mi. ride
today he said it must have been a break in deal. Good news for him. Hate to see any one with problem's on new toy. |

Very good choice in a bike.
I marked my calender for the unveiling of the 2013 line up, August 30th: http://www.harley-davidson.com/en_US...nch-party.html |

My boss has a nice Ultra LTd (which I actually found for him) and a new Road King (which he just picked up from Harley shop today, cut off twice last time he rode, they told him nothing was wrong with it, guess what's gonna happen to him real soon??) Harley is a good looking bike but would'nt trade my Vaquero for one. Would have to be some major mechanical issue and I don't think that will happen. Rode 2,387 trip from lower AL to Iowa and back and bike was perfect......ride & power
