I wear HD lace-ups, unless they're soaked, then I wear engineer boots.

ICON Super Duty II
Chucka Style boots with a buckle over the laces. They were very stiff when I purchased them and they walked in comfortably after a few weekends of walking and some miles on them. They're nicely made and have protection built in.

I wear boots year round. I have 4 or 5 different pairs but my favorites are Double H. The last I bought are the 12" Work Western Black 3267. I use Doc Bailey's on all my boots. This stuff works great.

I ended up buying a pair of those yesterday. They're the type that look like sneakers. No way I'm playing ball in those though. Imagin if I kicked someone in the shins?

I can identify with that Ponch. I shop by the "what have you got in my size?" method. But then again, you can get kids clothes anywhere, men's clothes are harder to find.

Either my $30 steel toe half-boots from Payless or my $25 RG vented full boot from Big5. Yup, work just as well as the high-dolalr HD boots, et al, and cost $100 less. Doesn't even bother me if they get scuffed up a bit at those prices... :-)

I wear Milwaukee Boots.

PRO's: If you like the laced up look, then you'll want zippers on each side for EZ on/off.(has it), oil resistant, and a good solid boot.

CON's: Heavy, not waterproof, and I've caught a lace on my kick stand. Very embarrassing.

Check'm out here: http://www.motoleather.com/milwaukee...ing-boots.html

But, like Ole Dawg said, and while I haven't worn'm in years, I'd sure like to have a Chippewa around my foot again. Oh, I can't remember how they feel on yer feet exactly now, but when it comes to style -

This is the Class of a Motorcycle Boot.

Here's their site:
http://tinyurl.com/2wnmf7

However, if you are determined to wear Flip Flops, at least get these to protect yer big toe!
