Since I live between I-10 and I-40, I plan to make a loop out of it. I've never been farther east than Willcox AZ on I-10 and Albuquerque on I-40. I've got a lot of country to see!

As BD logically scratches his head......

I thought Custer was chosen because of its "geographic" location? Right is the middle of the US or close to it? Of course I whined I about it. I'm SUPPOSED to right? Members on the extreme east and west coast had the furthest to ride! Now your say/admitting east coast members couldn't make it because of location and I (only southwest coast member who RODE all the way to Custer amid all the "BD just pushes his Nomad to the end of the driveway wise cracks)

Now we move the whole shabang to the east coast?!!

What about all those "BD doesn't ride" remarks? You ain't moving the National to the West coast are you? You mean to tell me after a couple of years of pretending to be riders BD's finding out otherwise? Someone get me an iron!

Ya ain't nuthin' but a bunch of east coast mama's boys... 3400 mile round trip and BD didn't blink an eye! Even CJ finally coughed up and admitted BD can knock of the some big miles!!!!

This is Shameful ladies and gentlemen... just Shameful!!!! ::) ::) Californians all over the state are realizing that the rest of the country is just pretending to be bikers by insulting us....... We are the TRUE CAPITOL of registered bikers in the US.......... WE ARE THE BIKER CAPITOL OF THE WORLD!

Heck, come on up to NE Colorado, we could really have a convoy by the time we get to NC. Not to bad of a trip, 1400 miles each way. Could make that in 2 days (not much fun that way). ::)

Ells, OP (further east), yourself, Dan, and others along the way.

Break it down down into mini trips BD. Do five 525 mile trips and before you know it you'll be here. See, I'm gonna do two 20 mile trips and before I know it I'll be there. Todd may have to do two 30 mile trips.

Oh cry me a river!

I'm just busting your chops. It's 2000 miles each way for me, and I plan to do it in 4 days. You're 6 hours west of me. Leave a day early, come meet me in PHX, and we'll gather up whoever else wants to go and we'll take either I-10 along the Gulf Coast or I-40 across New Mexico, etc. Come on, we'll have a blast!

Hey Scotty I "had" a blast riding with you to Custer! Major improvement from the Mesquite fiasco I had to ride with. Your a great riding partner. It was funny how were were both just about beat each time one of us would finally pull over for a rest!

I'm just not in the mind to ride 6000+ total miles on a vacation just yet! Time will tell. Now if I was retired and had a Leesurite camping trailer, I'd be all over the US all summer long!

Trip still owes me one big time too! He's been awfully quiet too!!!

Trip needs to go Don Corleone. He needs t grab you by your fresh pressed lapels, shake you like a woman, and slap the livin' dawg squeeze out of you and tell you to "ACT LIKE A MAN!" And make you an offer you can't refuse. I don't even think we'll need to do the horse head thing. The other thing ought to make you fold like a lawn chair.

Since you ain't coming (as of now) to NC, I'll let you in on a secret to the big mans heart. It's pie and ice cream! They was folks from other states, but three from NC gently pushing our hidden agenda. Plus we had Todd to, so you might as we accept the fact the National Rally going to be held in NC for a few years.
