It's not chrome, just brushed alluminum, but I think it doesn't look half bad. For $35.00 I ride with it for a while untill I see something I like better.

Have it off over the winter to fix a couple of tiny rock chips, then have it covered in the 3M material to prevent further damage ( I hope )

How do like the grill, are you happy with the quality and finish? The reason I ask is that a guy on another forum bought one from Mikes for his Drifter and had a bad experience with him. He says its cut pretty rough and that Mikes refused it when he sent it back for replacement.

Hey Doc, if it's the 1600 classic, it WILL fit our Nads, also the '05 Suzuki Marauder 1600 (which was built by Kawasaki ), will also fit. Mine is the H.a.c. 8761 chrome plated stainless that has the "Vtwin" on it.

Hey JRD, I had been looking at that one, I E-Mailed the guy that sells then and he said he didn't know if it would fit an '05 Nomad. What one did you order that fit the '05 Nomad? Thanks in advance!!

For the guys that asked....it is what it is, a $40.00 cover. I like it and it looks great on the bike. I would buy another one. But it is as one noted a little rough on the cut, but unless you have it off the bike you don't notice it. It does rattle sometimes, but not enough to annoy me. If I would have paid more I would have expected more I guess. I would say, it is decent for the price. I bought it off eBay for an 05 1600 Nomad.

hth,
John
