Doc, for your loss, I too grieve. I cannot imagine what life would be like if I lost my only son, or for that matter one of my grandchildren. Hopefully time will help to heal the loss you and your wife have.

Sorry to hear about your loss, Doc. We may never get to meet but we have 2 boys and their health is something I've always been thankful for. As parents we invest so much of our lives into theirs, few things could be so difficult as losing them.

Doc, I just saw this thread. My heart goes out to you and your wife. We should never lose a child, it's not right. Yes, the pain will eventually ease but the memory and sense of loss will be with you. Cherish the memory of the time you had with your son. I don't have the words to make it better but my thoughts are with you.
