I've been using boxer briefs, with no seams on the backside or between the legs for years and at every stop I adjust everything in the mens room, works for me.

For normal rides, whatever I have on. But for a long ride, especially in hot weather, LD comfort shorts are worth every penny.

Well I started using the good old fashion jockstrap. Yep thats right, it holds everything up so you are not sitting on your ball bearings. Keeps the ball bearing cage up to so you don't suffer from "sack smash" also.

Geeze what a question......

In late Spring to Late Fall under my jeans is just me. From late Fall to Early Spring under my jeans is long johns made of either silk or a cotton wool blend.

Some days I ride 200 miles on a stock seat, other days I ride 200 miles on a sheep hide, a real one.

Today I rode 200 miles in silk longies under my jeans and over them was assless pants. They are lined too....

Had some friends used to ride like crazy fools there were times they ran 140 for miles out west. As for the undies I use a good bicycle short on my long rides and have a set of the LD not impressed with them but better than whiteie tighties

ponch --- Just to clarify, I wasn't calling you a liar. It just seems highly improbable since it's even above Iron Butt standards (and those are some CRAZY guys).

ALL --- Seems I've started something I had no intention of starting. My apologies.

John Ryan did over 1500 a day for 3 days 14 hours. Understand he has type 1 diabetes too.

Ponch, there is a book out about John Ryan, called The Man That Would Stop At Nothing. Supposed to be pretty good read. That is on my Christmas wish list.

I sure hope you are talking about the 1500+ miles per day for 7 days and not the thong.

I ride for pleasure not for pain (hard to tell from the last rally). IMHO 500 in a day is insane.

I probably averaged that or more to and from the rally...It's doable, but I think 350 a day is better if you want to sight see.

under armor if you want to go that route. that has its own wierdness. A cut down mesh seat cover on top of the mustang seat works for me. I don't even strap it on and tuck it away in cold weather or just for a change during a ride.
