It was a great ride. Check the general board for pictures of the backrest on the bike. It took a little time to get used to it but it does help. All in all, a good purchase.

1500 driver backrests are ready

Received my drivers backrest from Grasshopper today. Got it installed, but still a little cold for taking it for a test ride. Feels good while just sitting on the Nomad, Looks sharp also. I'm ready to go if it would warm up. I've included a few pic's, Maybe.

I know mine should be here any day. cold is mind over matter. once it gets here I am on the road, as long as it is dry.
them puddles get hard under 30 degrees.
I know I am going to love it.

Got it in the mail today. Thank you!! Soon as I get out of work, it's going on the bike. Raining at 36 degrees so the test ride will wait. Some day I will figure out the pics.
Thanks again!

The back rest for the 1600 looks like it is too far forward. Other back rests for stock seats seem to be 1-2" further back. Has this been an issue with anyone? I'd like to know before I bought one.

Not at all for me ponch........I was worried about that issue.....it's puts me forward just slightly...I doubt even an inch from my riding position without it

1500 driver backrests are ready

Rode with my new backrest Monday and last night. At first I felt a little forward but it was because I was used to slouching. After 10 minutes I felt great. Wish it had a heater built in (26 degrees) but who cares, I was out on the bike. Thank you again.
