I bought it new in July of 2008....and have right around 45,000 miles on it now. I have done all the routine maintenance, installed the cam chain extenders....am on my fourth set of tires (third set of Avon Cobras)...and it runs like a champ!

I try to do at least two long rides every summer (7-9 days). I usually do one solo and one with the wife. After 32 years at my job, I accrue WAY more vacation than she does, so I can get away more often. I love doing both. When I'm solo....everything is at my own pace. When we go together, it is her and I against the world. We have really enjoyed the KawaNOW Rallies we have attended....and always look forward to those....

Good Video... now I finally understand all those silly photo opts! When you see all those State signs scroll past on the video ..Utah, Idaho, Montana... looks cool. I am convinced, there is no better bang for the buck... motorcycles, create motorcyclists, creates wanderlust!
