If I could own a new bike it would be the Vaquero, I really enjoyed the test ride this past June. It is the first test ride in years that made me want to get a new ride. I don't know about the execution of the work on the custom at the beginning of this thread, but I do like what was done to alter the look. I wouldn't do that because I like the look of the Vaq. I've been wondering what my Nomad would look like with the Vaq's fairing on it.

Just my observation
Just an old saying I've used for years.... however, I AM a Teasipper... so I guess it fits.

That color is an acquired taste, kind of like taquilla. No one would miss you coming or going, that's for sure, although the blue has the same effect. I still like red best with blue next...

That is 'signature' Kawasaki. As a Kawasaki Fan I love that color! My KLR 650 is the same colors.

That is one of the sexiest rear ends I have ever seen.

My local dealer did not order any 2012 Vaqueros because he still has 2 of the 3 2011s he ordered. People come in and look at it and then end up buying a Voyager because the price is too close by the time you add the accessories you want on the bike.

That's true about the price. I'd want ABS too, which is an option for Canada bound Vaqueros. Why they don't offer it here...And I'd want the backrest and the optional touring seat. That would bring it up close to the Voyager price. The real Kawasaki green is a bit different.

The paint scheme kinda reminds me of Harley's Screamin Eagle design.

Not to take this thread off track, but take a look at the first pic I posted. You'll see a gold and beige Voyager in the background.

They had a fully loaded ABS Voyager in that color. I feel in love with that bike also. Gold and Beige doesn't really do much for me, but when I saw it in person, I fell in love with it. Acquired taste? Maybe.

Your right Trip, it does seem to suit that particular bike. Im not normally a fan of those colors, but it looks classy on that bike.
