Now that 's a strong selling point! Poor schmucks who buy Kawasakis and Hondas just get reliable bikes. ;)
I owned only Kawasaki's before the beemer. The Nomad was dead on reliable, but it didn't come with it and nor did I request it on the BMW. It's just part of the deal. The other thing is, I maintain my bikes well, so I don't expect failure. If I get a flat, like Scott says, it happens. In fact, I had two on the Nomad, both read tire on the stones. At least with the beemer it has a center stand and a single sided swingarm.

Oh my... aren't we hearing it now from the crowd. :(" title="" border="0"/> It might feel a bit like Charlie Sheen felt at his show in Detroit!

CJ,
Same as before every game I ever umpired....you just had to know you were going to get killed by the spectators no matter how well you were doing. You could only ever please 50% of the crowd on any given call, so the other 50% let you have it. I just kept doing my thing and smiling the whole time. Keep on smilin' brother, keep on smilin'.... .

You can get flat tires on a Kawasaki, too. It has nothing to do with reliability. Only a fool would travel cross country on ANY bike without some emergency assistance plans in place, I don't care what they're riding.

OOPS :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ I had Kawgirl and Kawhead with me.....that was my emergency plan along with the the Benji's in my hip pocket.

Never had any problems on the road with my Nomad. I have roadside assistance and towing on it anyway.

Goodness! You guys sure took a post with three ::) ::) ::) and a ;) seriously!

But it is good to know that you find solace in features like center stands and battery connectors. Every bike has it's good points. I'm glad you are able to stay focused on the features that make your rides special.
