I will sell you (cheap) a time machine that will take you back in time so you can see his "last stand".

I loaded most of those routes into my GPS. I may not do the Little Bighorn run since I've been there twice. I for sure plan to make the grand loop thru Jellystone if anyone wants to joins us. I'm probably gonna do the Museum on Monday after two long days of riding to get there...then do the big loop on Tuesday, weather permitting.

Is anyone having communications on their bikes? I usually pack my portable CB (works really well) but my usual riding up partner is not going and it doesn't look like I'll need the CB on this trip. Just wondering.

All those rides Kris mentioned are indeed worth the time. I've done them all at one time or another, and I would add Hwy 14 through the Bighorn Mountains to the list.

The two times I have been on the Beartooth Highway in late July I saw temps in the low 30s in the AM and ice on the road in shadowed areas. If you plan on a ride through Yellowstone you will see many places to stop and see things – factor that into your planned time for the ride. It will also be the peak of the summer travel season for YELL – lots of traffic and full parking lots.

Did I read somewhere that the owner of the motel will collect $$ from us as we register and will throw a dinner for us? If so, what is the date of the dinner. Some of us will be leaving Thursday.

Something like that. Let me dig out the communication with them and I will post over the weekend.

Cliff - when you do the Cody trip, are you going to start off by going up the Beartooth? Or going to Cody first?

The trip to Custer Battlefield looks good. I am up for that - unless it's going to be a very hot day.

I want to take my longer rides on M and T. Leaving on Thru, I will do a short ride on Wed and rest. up.

Also, if there is to be a group dinner I hope it's not Thru night!! Some of us want be there.
