The reality is it is a big continent. Both Cluster and this one were closer to the west coast the from the East coast. Even Maggie Valley which on paper may look like it was in our back yards was 1200 miles from here.

Getting back to the regularly scheduled thread topic....Tricia and I spotted these bad boys feeding off the edge of the road along Hwy 14 near Cameron Pass! They were awesome to see. The one on the right was a big trophy shooter for sure...

Not by much Norm. The last National at Maggie Valley would have been 1300 miles for me. Crescent City was over 1400 miles for me so it isnt far from being in the middle.

My comment about having the nxt National closer is just wishful think'in on a count of me having trouble riding the longer distances with these knees and hips of mine. I'll be doing my best to make a regional and the next national.
As a side bar....
Unfortunately I haven't had the time to try and arrange a regional for the Western Canada region for next yr. . I'll try and get something happening as the season ends and winter sets in.

Oh !!! and thanks again for the photos I'm sure there'll be more to come from others. Sure wish I could have made it there.
