I have attempted to contact John on a number of occasions to get him to post on this thread.
Obviously without success.
If you do plan to attend the rally be sure to take steps to deal with the sun and high temps.

Plans for Montana were posted in July of last year.
Making it fairly clear that many had no intention of attending a SW rally regardless of it's location.

If that's the case, then may be the SW rally should have been reconsidered or cancelled.

Maybe. But the goal was to hold regional rallies in even numbered years as we have in the past.
If members decide not to go then that's the way it is.
But I appreciate John's efforts to do something for the SouthWest region.

And I am just wondering, what did he do? If it's apparent that no one is going because of Montana, then may be some thought should have been put into it. Doing things because they've always been done is a poor way to do things, but it doesn't require as much thinking. FWIW, the Northwest isn't having a rally, or at least it doesn't seem that way.

We are DEFINITELY still on for the SW REgion Rally as posted, nothing has changed; same dates, same place, same rides.

There will not be a commemorative t-shirt. There is no fee, there is no RSVP, when you arrive we will collect a release/waiver, and distribute an ICE form, along with the itinerary and ride maps. It'll be low key, high adventure/fantastic riding and time to share stories and ideas, make memories, friends, and renew acquaintances.

If you have any questions that will not wait, please e-mail me at daddydyer@juno.com. I'll respond within a short period of time, as long as you don't send at times when most are asleep.

Hope to see you all, and exceed your expectations,

John

The NW doesn't have a RL and so no one has planned a VBA regional rally.

I don't know why you care about this. You have done none of the work planning the rally and don't plan to attend.
Doing nothing but commenting requires little thought as well, and even less effort.

I was planning on taking a day off to go one day, so there. I don't even ride a Kawasaki anymore and I wanted to know some info, which has been lacking for some time. You should save your criticisms for yourself as they are unfounded.

For what it is worth, I am driving 2150 miles one way to the SW regional rally, am in Amarillo as I type this. Gonna catch the South Central and then the South East Rally's also in June. That will be the first 6000 miles. Then at the end of July I intend to drive another 6000 miles to attend the Get together in Beartooth. So a person can do both if they are so inclined. Ponch I hope you do come down for a day as haven't seen you since Crescent City.

Safe travels Ross. Try to keep that beast under 100 in the parking lot and 150 on the interstate.

Well, the jackass Carnac seems to think I had no intention of going. I guess he failed to read this thread or he's a fucking idiot.

You are correct that he is a fucking idiot because a fucking idiot is the only person that would accept to be President of group of Badass Bikers.

Yeah, I read that. I may be an idiot. I'm convinced I'm not alone in that respect.

He'll be able to Greg. It's not like he's riding a Victory Cross Country Tour
