DOWNED NOMAD!!!!
Yeah I plan to keep her around. She works out pretty good for a fool like me.. I didn't say I was sorry about you getting pinched, which might have been rude, but it was a given thought.
When I get hurt i tend to get funny.. It helps keep thing sane.

I clean my black powder pistols in the dish washer. You guys need to learn the proper tools of the household for the correct cleanings and uses!
It is scarey to little ol me that i have to put the M back in man! I wonder if I can bottle up snake oil that will profess growing knuckes hair? Hmmm

Well CheriAnn, it depends on what the towel says. If it says 'Beach' it is +2, but if it says 'Peach' it is negitive 10 (-10) which is reely bad..
I don't see anything that looks like a black powder gun to me in any pictures, so if there is one it must be one of the sissy in-line guns. A reel mans guns uses rocks to make it go, unless it is a repeater. I made this one from shop junk a few years ago. Well a few years ago is sort of a lie, but I am still working on the "How To" for a hairy knuckel dragger to properly enter the sissified 21st century, and I have questions. The surprising thing is I am not even 6 feet tall and I don't weigh quite 150 pounds. Perhaps there are not enough calories in my water. ;) Some of the questions are, is that table cherry wood under the towel? Why is there a towel in the first place? But then I like your Glock, and his tee shirt is spectacular

OH BOY! You really do use a black powder gun!!!
His is in the form of a shotgun type shooting....inline, as ouy put it, used mainly for hunting during the Black Powder Season for deer: You are VERY observant too! The towel does indeed say "BEACH"! The table is indeed cherry. It started life as an eating table, but the legs were later cut down to make into a coffee table (not by me!!!) Since it's sucha nice table, that's why a towel is down to protect it while he cleans all my guns!! I love the Glock and my little Bersa .380. However the Smith & Wesson 45 kicks my butt when I shoot it....major recoil to me!!! Glad you like his t-shirt too, after all, I bought it for him!!!

DOWNED NOMAD!!!!
Hi Folks! As a reminder, the original intent of the thread is how a mishap can occur and how easy it is to drop a bike into another one. Fortunately in this case no real damage was done, nobody got hurt which was really important, and it reminded everyone to be extra careful.
The recent pictures of the black powder guns are very nice. While I am into guns and enjoy looking at them, this is the Motorcycle Safety / Riding section. The gun subject would be better in the non-Nomad/Motorcycle or Misc. areas of the forum. Let's try and keep the thread on topic. Thanks.

DOWNED NOMAD!!!!
markg, This is my way of being cheery. I don't know about you but when I get bashed and scraped up I want things to be cheery so I don't forget whats what.
I can see you stepping in if a complaint was made, but none has, unless you are going to make more of this one of yours. I do get OT and all the time, but i don't come out of the garage much. I have this thing called winter with 3 feet + of snow right now too, so bikes are real hard to think about, when your bike looks like this. Of course you are free to tell me to go get lost and I will. Just say the word... mac

CheriAnn, LOl that cherry table is a hoot, and I use it as a joke when ever i can.. it was a part of a harley tv commercial in NH and I can't say where else..
And yeah I do historical re-enactting. so flinters and me go hand in hand and i guess always will til I die. I am sorry for getting your thread 'busted' too.... Like i said i was just simply trying to be cheery. This is the first time anyone complained about me being OT here, probably because i stay in the garage mostly...

DOWNED NOMAD!!!!
CheriAnn, Don't worry about me I got a rep around. I was head mod at MC USA, and am still as far as i know. I am elsewhere on line too..
I was known as fair. More over i am a real x foreign car tech, and banning me for any reasons would be foolish. So far I have never been banned from any site, but my days is probably due... i do all my own bike work, ever bit, from swapping rubber by hand to paint, plus I make all my historical stuff including sewwing mocs' coats and all my wifes dresses by hand, doing the bead work, and the real silver work too.. I was just trying to be silly which I never fail at unless it is seen as foolish, and I make a point of being foolish. We cross posted so I just now saw you last post. There was something else in the thread i was interested in. 'We' know hurt well. In 05 I crashed in SD, breaking 3 ribs, and cutting my wife bad. Rather than quit to just go home we stayed with the plan. probably I am the only rider who rode 1/2 the country from SD to Cal, and then all the way back with busted ribs and this little .40 cal Kentucky Rifle. It is hard for me to separate things. That gun went all the way to cal and I still have it now. This Nomad you see was my 01, and it had a trailer too.

And oh yeah if anyone got me in any trouble i did it to myself... You should be held innocent of any guilt. I just do what I do and lots of that is fooling around.. I just liked your style since you came, which is probably plain.. And my wife trusts me....
In 06 a women rider from New Zealand needed some help, and i was the one.. picked her up in Boston off the plane, picked up her bike when it came 3 weeks late, assembled it, and sent her off west.... While she waited she rode pillion with me to Maine and we 'shacked up' in a cottage on the Bar Harbor coast all one night, and all on the up and up... A wife must really trust to allow that.. I don't mess with that trust..
