Bring a tent. Plenty of areas to camp then.

Both of those are in a good area, our daughter lives within walking distance of both places. I will ask her about them this weekend when she visits us.

I would not have recognized him had you not pointed him out. Glad that you had a great time.

Does this mean that you are going?

I would like to see what mods you have done to your bike and also buy you that lunch that I owe you.

I will be there at least for one day and maybe more. It is only an hour and 20 minutes from where I live.

A free lunch is always good

I received this info from my daughter about both places:

They are both in my neighborhood. I looked at google maps and street view to remind myself of where they are at. From looking at just the outside and nearby hotels and buildings I think the first one, 3 Peaks is a better choice. That one looks nicer and seems more hotel like and the other one seems more motel like. Plus 3 Peaks has better reviews and from the photos inside the rooms it looks nicer.

3 Peaks does have streets on 3 sides of it but they aren't that busy of streets and it's further from the highway then the other place. Big Pines is right across the street from a new shopping center they are building which is just about done. From the satellite view there is construction on the place next to Big Pines but it is done now and that place is actually a hostel (the only one in town), so you might get some odd people there.

I'd say 3 Peaks, although I don't know about a bunch of bikers coming into my neighborhood and making a bunch of noise

I sent my daughter an email to see if she could find out about an outdoor area.

Looks like 3 peaks has an outdoor pool & hot tub area for gathering, walk to several restaurants.
