Concealed Carry on Bike

Way back on the first page of this thread I wrote what I did thinking that none of us would actually carry while riding, and I see my theory was seriously flawed. First let me say, y'all scare me with your knowledge of guns and how to conceal them. Remind me not to do anything stupid around you. Seriously though, this has been some good information. Thanks for teaching me some things I never knew about a different type of safety gear.

My wife has started wearing one of those hip bags that just clip onto your belt loops and she says it works good for stashing a small framed weapon. Just thought I would throw that one out there too.
bluetongue , Where did your wife get this bag? I looked all over for one 'cause Cindy wanted one last year but I couldn't find one.

bluetongue - I would be interested in what kind of bag that clips to the belt loops you are talking about too.

Sowkbiker- Ain't that just what makes this place great....we can learn something everyday......some usefull/some....well fun info anyway. ;)

Let's look at this....lots of computer nerds on Nomads who are packing.......hope the FBI doesn't start profiling this group.

Concealed Carry on Bike

I had a concealed weapon permit when I was younger but gave it up. I don't need to be carrying a gun around. I need that like another hole in my head. I'm kind of big to be a pushover and usually have people laughing so there's no need.

Check this out...I was in Haifa Israel in 1990 and there was a attempted bank robbery. The majority of people carry in Israel as part of their national defense programs. There was an article in the local newspaper about the robbery...it literally read -- "the clerk refused to give the man money. As the suspect fled, the crowd heckled him. He fired into the crowd...'the crowd fired back'...and the man succumbed to his wounds at the scene of the crime."

IT WAS AWESOME! I think that if more honest people carried in our country, the inexperienced knuckle-head robbers would get a loud and clear message that the risk of taking someone else's property is definitely not worth it.
