***KawaNOW 2009 National Rally Announced***

Just as a courtesy and to help to get some trip ideas flowing, here are some ideas that might help in getting members to the National Rally next year:

- Trailer your bike and bring the family

- Trailer and bring another member

- Allow members to stay with you overnight, especially if your casa is on the way to the rally for them. Then ride in with them.

- If you live too far, fly into say, Denver, rent a Nomad and ride to Custer.

- Plan your route to Custer carefully and pick up members to ride with along the way. There's no reason to ride alone, if you don't want to.

- Thoroughly plan for the trip....if you need to pull a trailer, start looking at getting a trailer and hitch for your Nomad.

Any other suggestions?

Trip

OH THE SHAME OF IT ALL........... TRAILER QUEENS? OUR BELOVED NOMADS?

At the rate gas prices are climbing by next year no one is going to be able to fill the tank on anything that can pull a trailer full of Nomads anyway. Man up you guys ( except Kawgirl, dakals and unwind2 of course, but then I DONT HEAR THEM WHINING) Ride the wheels off those Nomads. See you in September.

Yep, June is looking better and better. I am going to build a trailer to tow, otherwise I will be doing laundry every 3rd day. I have a coupon for 15% at Harbor Freight. I'm going to get the 12" tire model. I already have the cargo carrier here.

I think the Eastern group is going to go through Tennessee and we should end up with 6-8 bikes at least on the way...Joe, todd, nckawgirl, unwind, dui, davidjones, and myself (I probably don't have the list right).

You can actually rent a Nomad somewhere?

In our current space-time continuum, here?

Because I've never heard of such a thing in the known universe, except for in New Zealand, and that's a bit of a tough ride from Custer.

I love the riding the Hills and know them quite well. The Custer Chamber of Commerce will be a great help if you contact them. The motels are spread out but the Rock Crest Lodge let us use their large lot as Rally central.

It is marked on my calendar and I am ready.

Hey, remember when you rode into that carwash all dusty and sweaty? If it was one of them automatic car washes you coulda killed two birds with one stone.
