Hey Guys, I will be there. Taking the long way around. NC to TX to NM, AZ, NV, CA then UT for the SW regional. After that cruising the rockies for a week then coming to Des Moines to see daughter and grandsons. After that meeting Dave Mills and riding to Savanna. Bucking for the long distance award as will have right at 6,000 miles on clock when hit Des Moines. The bluffs in northern Iowa along the Mississippi were my old stomping grounds when I lived in Cedar Rapids and looking forward to seeing them again!

Hey Ross,
I suspect that you will easily win the long distance award at the NCR Rally. Glad you will be able to make it. One of my brothers lived in Cedar Rapids back in the late 70's. I used to stop in Duffy's every time I was in town, love that place.

Oh yeah, I took the bike out yesterday. I had to run the the ATM and decided to take the bike for a 15 mile loop. Everything seemed to work fine.

Melody Marchbanks Memorial Ride
Hey the weather in Indiana is quite beautiful this week. I have been on the Nomad several times since March 1.
Looking forward to seeing the members of NCR & all members that we have not met yet. Our time together have always been memorable & new memories have been made. It has been a very long winter although not a harsh one yet very long. Since the passing of Melody in December I have grown in many ways. The 12yrs we spent together will be years that I will never forget. She taught me so many different things, from laughing at myself to how to handle myself in a 5 star restaurant. She taught me how to fry bacon perfectly & how appreciate a great bottle of wine. The NCR in June was something she was looking forward to as riding was her passion. It is because of her that I am riding a motorcycle today. Thank You, motorcycle friends for all the support & kindness. Will see you in Savanna, in June

Glad to here that you have been out riding Don. Melody will be with us all during our Rally in June. I am sure that the Rally will be bittersweet for everyone that had the fortune of knowing Mel. See you in Savanna my friend.
