Been fighting stones for about 25 years now. This will be my third lithotripsy. Had both kidneys blasted in 1999 leaving both clear. But they always redevelop after a few years. I've actually gotten pretty accustomed to having them. Most of the time it's just a dull pain but occasionally I have to pop the pain pills for relief. Thanks for the well wishes. I should be good as new on the left side after tomorrow.

Yep, pretty close Dave. If it was attached it wouldn't be as bad. It's floating around at the bottom of the left kidney and blocks the drain every now and then. That's when the pain is pretty tough. It's too big to pass so they will break it up into smaller pieces. Then all hell breaks loose for a few days if it doesn't break up into small enough pieces.
