Gday all.
Bundyrumandcoke (Dave) is my name. I own a 2007 1600 Nomad. Based in Central Queensland, I split my time between home in Gladstone, and work at Bluff where I drive trains for a living. I bought my nomad to do the 600km round trip between work and home in comfort. It had 7000km on the clock from the previous owner, who owned it for 6 months. I have managed to put 35000km on the clock in the last year, including 8200km my missus and I put on her in a recent 4 week trip through NSW, SA, Vic, and home again. The bike has been tricked up with MCC cruise control, HID spotlights, Classic Industries towbar, sheepskin seat covers, rear rack, and 3 additional 12V power outlets for running GPS, phone, ect. Currently installing a stereo to run through Cardo bluetooth headsets so the long trips are a little less boring, we have previously used a bluetooth enabled PDA for music on the move. The trailer we tow runs LED lights internally, with additional power outlets, a water tank under the front, and we run an Engel fridge in it where we are touring. welcome, trevor. im sure we can handle another member in here, it would be great if you could put up some pics of your nomad, and tell us a bit about yourself. there dont seem to be many early nomads around so its great to see another one still going. mine is a 98 model and is in the pic at the base of my posts. cheers madcow.
