Nice find Greg. That would be a 600 to 660 mile ride depending upon the route I take. One long day and a short one.

Don't you have a half day ride before you hit a paved road?

Only if I have to trailer them to town.

That's only a day and a half ride on that Harley.

Honestly, I don't know if I can do July. June is our fiscal year end at work and most of the month is a change moratorium, meaning we can't make changes on the servers, so most of us take time off in June because there's not much work to do. As soon as July 1 hits, we're busy playing catch up. I changed jobs a year and a half ago and this is what I have to work around.

We could go for Late June. But you might not be able to get completely over the Beartooth pass or get into Yellowstone through Cooke City. They usually just have that all plowed out for Memorial Day. If we have a big snow year it could still be closed .....

We could do early August, so Scott can really enjoy the ride out of his place...and the passes will be snow free for sure.

A late June time frame wouldn't be too bad. Or we could just kidnap CJ and force him there.

June-July-August makes no difference. If I want to ride in comfort I'd have to do it in April or October.

I would have a better chance of making an August rally than July.

Beartooth is on my bucket list. I won't risk missing it due to weather. Maybe August or September would be better? Or maybe we should plan 2 trips? One to Red Lodge and one to Phoenix

Sure, June would be no problem, but I thought that month was off the table because of potential bad weather in Montana/Wyoming?
