Somehow I missed this part of this thread. This looks very doable for me. I was in Red Lodge mid-August last year. Ran into a few light snow showers on the Bear-tooth. No big deal. I'm in.

Just thought I would let you guys know that you timed your Yosemite excursion perfectly. It snowed on the Tioga Pass yesterday. :-)
