Larry is back on the bus and forgot about us...

Good morning 64*, 95% humidity and headed for 80* cloudy skies possible t-storms today. Crap.
One neighbor just divorced has decided to sell the house and live in his camp. (?)
Another 'rental' neighbor is moving to Maine. That leaves two of us wondering about
how many kids, dogs, cats, chickens and such will show up in the near future. Could
be good bait for a squatch sighting. Have a great day!

Good morning what is your secret Gerry? I've been hoping a nut case neighbour would sell and move for years.

Sunny and 70 here. I thought they said rain today. Oh well I'll take it while we can get it.

Good morning from North Surrey. 8:57 AM ....It's presently 16* C / 60.8 F with showers.

This is probably one of the biggest days of my working career. Today is the cutoff to apply for a retirement pkg. being offered to the pressroom employees, by the Co. .... that I've been employed with for the last 28 yrs.. There are just 14 "spots" being offered and I'm approx. #24 from the top of the seniority list in the shop. I'll find out officially after 4:00 PM this afternoon. Unofficially it looks like the pkg. will reach me seniority wise but I do have to wait "till the fat lady sings". There is always a chance there is someone waiting in the weeds until the very last minute ......just because. I've talked with just about everyone that's above me and most say they are too young to take it or they aren't financially able to take it right now. So there is an advantage to being old,.... ahhem !! ,...older. Those above me are mostly in their early to late 50's, where I'm 59 and planning to retire next May anyway. So this would be kind'a like winning the Lotto for me.

Oh look !!! did I say today had showers??? I think the sun is breaking through.

I hope you all have a great day,.... talk at you later !!!!

Good luck Rick, seems we are in similar situations even though I retired 5 years ago with a full pension. The house in the city is going on the market soon and my wife will finish working in the spring at which time we will move full time to the country house.

Good morning 66* cloudy 79* and rain is expected. The weather people have been wrong more then right
this summer. No rain yesterday until 10 p.m. but if I go for a ride this morning it will probably rain.

How far away from home do you have to go to hunt Steve?

Good morning, going to my niece's wedding to day. Apparently I have been voted designated driver by my daughters and wife on the reasoning that it is an open bar and being older and supposedly wiser I wouldn't get full value out of it anyway!

I was at a wedding last Saturday, they had an open bar. Totally surprised me as I haven't
seen that in many years here. Naturally, I behaved myself.

This morning it is presently 66* cloudy, 99% humidity threat of rain and t-showers today.
You know that crapping feeling of while you are sitting and the perspiration is dripping onto
the chair and the floor? That would be me today. YUK! We were going to the lake for some
sailing but with the weather I guess that's not a good idea. There are plenty of places to go
and do things this weekend, so we'll find something else to do.
Have A Great Day!
