They're calling for sleet for us New Years Eve, and y'all don't chance it if it's even slightly dangerous. :)

On my last bike I had a SP5000 and it was a good tire. This time it's gonna be a 205/60-16 Goodyear Assurance Triple Tred.

We having a tire mounting party at Buttar's house? Sounds like that could be dangerous.

You all have a safe ride. I was going to say warm but that doesn't sound like it is going to happen.

don't know if this counts - yesterday was nothing but rain. So, I did my annual ride today. 108 miles, 42 degrees when I left. Just got back, now 47. Yeah I know, balmy by NC standards, but pretty chilly for us southern boys...

Didn't see any snow, penguins or polar bears but bunch of Sandhill cranes were out this morning - no bikers until now though. No I wasn't on a wing with electrics either.

Happy new year!

Jim

Yeah Jim it counts. I was in boot camp in FLA. in the winter of 1982 and I nearly froze to death. Y'all's winter is nothing compared to the mid-west winter, but there are a few days when that moist cold really dose a number to your bones! IMUO :-*

SouthEastern Polar Bear Ride!!

After we left TheSkyway, yea some of us hit TheDragon

Had to get a picture of the Nomad beside TheDealsGap sign

Here we are trying to get warmed up.

Met a couple of darksiders over there from MCDarksiders Forum (left) Smokin-Joe, & (right) Marine-MP

A picture of the mountains the Skyway goes across from RobbinsvilleN.C.
After we left Robbinsville we rode back over to MurphyN.C. where Marine-MP is from and then back on U.S.Hwy68 to TellicoPlains. Besides a couple of minor incidents and half freezing to death we had a good ride.
