Rally Attendance - Page 7

I just talked to Yummy and he's planning on riding his 900 down.
He want me to do a different design for a solo rack on the 900 that matches the seat.

At least I got both Nickels and Yummy to come!

(no I won't be the only dumb ass there!) ::)

Thanks Kawahead for those tasteful words of wisdom! My Doc says no riding my bike for 2 weeks, so I'm grounded, pulse I now have out of state company headed my way, I am so thrilled.

Sometimes they show up after the trouble and you might get caught.

And sometimes just before, like soliciting prostitution or something. So have a good story beforehand.

I have never attended a rally and do not know the ropes....a friend of mine is coming along on his bike, not a Nomad...I hope he will feel welcome...He does not like to talk about it but is slowly losing his eyesight but can still ride for now......he can no longer ride a big bike for various health reasons and will be coming up on his 450 lb 650 CC kawa sport bike which he is able to handle with various modifications.....It is sorta a "bucket list" type activity for him I imagine..

..He has been riding for over 40 years and has had a couple of dozen bikes....
I sent a PM to Coach adn phone another "regular" on these boards to see if it would be ok, and have not heard back yet, so am posting this as a "heads-up".....

My buddy's name is Dave Burgess....Anyone who wants to talk electro/mechanical speak, will find him a fountain of knowledge..even built his own airplane..He lives in suburban Charlotte, NC.

We will be likely be arrving at the Day's Inn sometime on Wed and stay until Friday morning..

hey bob...wish i cudda made this years rally...not much to rallying other than ridin, eatin (any thing fried, and desert...ice cream seems to be a fave amoungst this group along with smores....) and fireside chattin...good group of bubbas and bubbettes....your buddy will be welcome,,,,i guarantee :)
