So who's out there
Ok Vulcanguy I sure will let you know, The rally is being held at Ottawa Municipal Campground
411 Corkstown Road, Nepean, Ontario . Do you know of this campground?? I have been to Ottawa many times but don't know the campground. I am able to get around Ottawa fairly well. But I am not sure I would like the highways on a bike :(

So who's out there
Hi Everyone,
Just saw this page of the forum. Bought my 2010 Nomad last week and joined up. Great site. Was able to answer a lot of questions about my bike from this site. If you are up in the Woodstock, NB area give me a shout. Ride safe!! Kevin

So who's out there
Hey Kevin welcome. I have passed through Woodstock on a trip to Cape Breton, which i may do again in the future.
Maybe you might consider joining us for the Eastern Canada/ North eastern U.S rally next summer. So far there is at least 1 confirmed and possibly another member coming from down your way.

This is the base motel we will book up. http://www.canyonmotels.com/amenities.html Check in Monday July 16Th with 2 days of riding and 1 day of socializing and checkout Friday Morning. You can follow the talk on this board in the Regional Rally 2012 thread as well as the North Eastern (U.S) board as this will be a combined rally between the two groups.

Never know what to say so here goes nothing. On my 4th Vulcan now. 2005 1600 Nomad. Been riding since the 80's. finally made it legal in 89. many bikes over the years but fell in love with Vulcans when I bought a 94 1500 way back brand new and rode it into the ground over 120,000kms. moved up to an 05 new back when I was a working guy full time. then another, then a Triumph, now back to another 05 1600 Nomad. I live about an hour from Sarnia Ont. Kettle and Stony Point-FN. Been with different groups over the years. Now riding with The CAV(Canadian Army Veterans Motorcycle Units). I was a short timer, nothing interesting thankfully and a long time ago. Last job ended 2009 officially- Technical Analyst/Project Manager for GM Defense/GDLS-C -Stryker Brigade Combat Team Program. Medical reasons I had to resign. Pensioned now due to motorcycle accident on Nomad #1. I do computer work from home when I can get it. Riding, Leather work, Wood burning(pyrography) and much more. still learning how to use this room. currently looking for info on differences between 2004 and 2005 1600 nomads. I've usually tossed on the Duncan Hines exhaust but want something different. was researching with a Suzuki Racing Mechanic on Cobra duals but hit a snag. Cobra claims they fit up to 2004 then list no years after. Anyone knowledgeable on this? Anyway, nice to read all the back posts. sorry if my post crosses over the intent of your original post cnc. Cheers all. What doesn't kill us makes us stranger. L8ter.

Hey Torch, welcome to the VBA. I think you will find a great bunch of people on here, many very knowledgable. You will find in the tech section a board devoted to the 1500 and 1600 Nomad. Post any questions you have about years and exhaust options on there and you will get the most responses.
