Good Morning; 60 & overcast, I'll be out shopping for a new truck today, the old one is getting tired.

I was looking at trucks a couple of months ago when I was at the dealers getting a part for mine. Holly crap I almost died at the sticker prices, most were over 50 grand! I'll just keep mine going for a few more years.

Yeah, the pricing is out of control. I think it's better to buy something a couple years old and let someone else pay for depreciation, but used prices on some models of vehicles are insane. Jeep Wranglers fetch crazy numbers here.

I sold my 2009 Suburban a month ago. Glad to be rid of it as it would have been a money pit. Bought something completely different.

My Daughter bought a very nice low milage Volvo xc from my doctors wife at a good price. Nice car! This has my wife looking at them as her next vehicle. Even new they come in less than a pickup around here, but there are always lots of them around at the dealers coming off of 2 year leases and a drop in price of 20 grand from new.

Terrible heat again today Gerry.
T.38°C at 04.00 p.m. (perceived temperature 42°C, a "raging fever" indeed ). Sunshine, not a breath of wind.
It seems to be in Africa, not in Northern Italy.
Have a nice day, my friend.

It's actually easier for me to get in and out of than our 2013 Passat. It was used, a 2013 with 6500 miles on it. I like it, but this is our 5th VW. I've had good luck with them so far. The only downside is that it doesn't do as well as the Passat on mileage and they both have the same drivetrain. It gets 25-26 on average, the passat a little more. It's a smaller and lighter car, which perplexes me. I suspect the gearing might be different as the RPMs are a little higher at a given speed. It's a fun car though. I can't wait for the temps to drop a bit and I can drop the top.

Neat, I had a 67 beetle which I know is a far cry from the new ones but I'd by a newer one just for the nostalgia factor.

My first car was a 1969 VW Fastback.

Morning 65* cloudy should see a high of 74* partly cloudy and a possible T-storm.
Glad I live in the woods this time of year, always a little cooler here at the house.
During the winter months it's not so good. Have a great day!

G'morning. Only 96 forecast and 70% chance of rain. A nice break from the 100+ temps we been having for a month now.
I recently bought a 2008 Nissan Frontier CC 4x4 and even at $14K it was a good deal for around here. The price of new trucks is just outragous.
Luv the VWs. Like the Gulf to. Be perfect for the wifes run around town car.
